Outlander PHEV Charging
Ways to Charge
Charging is simple
The Outlander PHEV can be charged in several different ways. All of them as easy and convenient as the next. Simply pick the one that suits you best.
Normal Charger
The drive battery can be charged with your standard 3-pin plug at home, which we recommend using a dedicated electrical circuit, checked by a qualified electrician. 7 hours (230V 8A) or 5.5 hours (230V 10A).
Dedicated Home Charge Point
A dedicated Home Charge Point is one that is installed outside your home by a qualified electrician and will charge your Outlander PHEV in 4-5 hours.
Quick Charger
A Fast Charger can give you up to an 80% charge in as little as 25 minutes, making them the fastest way to charge your Outlander PHEV. You can find them at a lot of motorway services now.
Self Charging
You can also use the PHEVs own regenerative braking system to add charge as you drive and you can charge your PHEV using the petrol engine by selecting charge mode.
Mitsubishi Remote Control
Let the Outlander PHEV tell you when it's all charged up
Want to know when your Outlander PHEV is fully charged? The Mitsubishi Remote Control will tell you. Plus it lets you remotely set charging times or programme it to pre-heat or cool the cabin, so when you get back to your car, it’s the perfect temperature for you.
